Collection includes clippings, correspondence, and memorabilia; the clippings (1924-1985) concern Florida State University history and include some from the Polk County Quarterly; the correspondence (mostly from the 1970's) includes letters from Ella Bisbee regarding a 50 year reunion class biography book & letter from FSU to Pipkin; memorabilia includes a citation from FSU & a letter from the director of the Alumni Association to Pipkin dated Oct. 1969.

The Florida State College for Women (FSCW) Artist Series began in 1923. Dean Ella Opperman was the first person in charge of organizing the series. The series was intended to bring renowned artists to FSCW. After FSCW became Florida State University (FSU), the FSU School of Music managed the series.
